His turban, the bansuri, the dupatta and the cow's horns and tail are each set on by hand, then polished. Hours of work, finished one detail at a time.

Made by hand, one ornament at a time
The body is cast and finished in fine marble dust. Then a karigar sets every gold-plated ornament onto it by hand, one piece at a time, and polishes each one. It is the slowest, most careful work we do.

The price reflects the handwork. Every gold ornament is made separately, plated on its own and set onto the idol by hand, and each piece is polished and checked one at a time. You are paying for time, skill and materials, not volume.
The body is a cast resin core finished in fine marble dust, which gives it the smooth white surface of stone. The ornaments are brass, each one plated in 24K gold and set on by hand. It is not carved marble.
Not on a piece that is displayed and dusted. Our certificate guarantees the gold plating is pure 24K. Because every piece is so delicate, Premium Edits do not carry a guarantee against wear, or buy-back. Keep it away from water and cleaners, and dust it with a soft dry cloth.
Most Premium Edits ship within 2–3 days. Each one is packed in plenty of foam inside our gift-ready box, so it arrives safe and ready to give. Shipping is free and fully insured across India, with tracked courier worldwide.
No. Premium Edits are made for display and gifting. The marble-dust body and the hand-set gold ornaments are delicate, and water, milk, kumkum, oil or washing can damage them badly. For a murti you will bathe and worship every day, choose one of our brass idols.
