We pack every product with a lot of care and love so that they reach you safely. In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged, or you’re not happy with it, please send us a photo and video of the product and its box within 7 days of receiving your order. If we have delivered the wrong or damaged product, we will replace it immediately.
When can you request a return or replacement?
We welcome return or replacement requests under the following conditions:
- You identify a manufacturing defect in the product received.
- The product supplied is different from the product ordered.
- The product has not been used or worn.
- The product is returned in its original packaging, which must not be broken or soiled.
- You can provide proof of purchase or a receipt for the product.
- The product is under warranty, where eligible.
Products not eligible for returns
Not all products are eligible for returns. To stay fair to our artisans and craftsmen and keep our prices reasonable, some items are marked “Final Sale.” Please check with our customer team which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.
- Food-serving products, ceramics, cutlery, and other fragile items are not eligible for returns.
- Handicrafts and natural materials with slight colour or texture differences are not eligible for returns.
- Tiny bubbles on ceramic are not considered a defect if they are not visible on the upper surface.
- Our listed dimensions are generally very accurate. A variance of up to 5% or 2 cm (whichever is higher) from the stated dimensions is not considered a defect.
- Items ordered that are out of stock and cannot be exchanged for a similar product will be refunded.
- Damaged goods that have been used or mishandled will not be accepted as returns.
- In all cases, refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.
Once an order is packed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled or altered. If it is not accepted at delivery, it will be treated as a return.
If you’re unable to receive your order
- Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Svastika reserves the right to deny future orders if COD orders are repeatedly declined.
- Prepaid orders: if the order is refused or returned, Svastika will refund the amount. However, re-delivery requests may incur additional charges.
Process of Return & Refund
- The return is processed free of charge. We arrange a pickup of the product(s) from your doorstep. Please note that we reserve the right to deny a free return if a previous COD order was cancelled at the doorstep.
- As a courtesy to our customers, we kindly request you to pack the product securely to prevent any damage in transit — including a drop test where possible — before handing it to our courier partner. This helps us process your refund smoothly.
- Once the returned item reaches our warehouse, we inspect it and notify you by email or phone that we have received it. We then inform you whether the return has been approved or rejected.
- Once approved, your refund is initiated to your original payment method for the value of the items returned. For COD orders, the refund is processed to the bank account or UPI ID you provide. Refunds typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
