White & Gold Pearl Pooja Chowki

Before any pooja begins, the deity is given a seat of its own, raised on a chowki. On Diwali, Lakshmi and Ganesha are seated on one for the Lakshmi pooja, and for Varalakshmi vratam the decorated kalash of Maa Lakshmi is placed on it. This white and gold pearl chowki gives your murti that seat, in white pearls edged with gold beads and a gold square at the centre.

For the home mandir and festival pooja

Keep it in the home mandir under Ganpati Bappa or Laddu Gopal for the daily pooja, and bring it to the centre for Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi or Varalakshmi pooja, where the pearls catch the diya light. For a heavy brass idol, choose a wooden one from our pooja chowki range.

Which size to choose

The 5 inch measures 5.5 inches across and the 7 inch measures 7 inches, both 1.5 inches high. Choose one a little wider than the base of your murti, so the pearls frame it. The 9 inch is the festival size, with room for a Ganesh and Lakshmi pair side by side on Diwali.
