Cast in 55–60°C heat, by hand
Long before the city wakes, our karigars are already at the furnace — pouring molten brass in a room that climbs to 55–60°C, hour after hour, so a family they will never meet can place a god in their home. They choose the heat, because an idol made by human hands carries intention a machine never can.
Made to be handed down
Brass doesn't wear out — it deepens. The idol you place in your mandir today is the one your grandchildren will inherit, its patina a quiet record of every aarti, every festival, every ordinary Tuesday it watched over. This isn't a purchase. It's the first page of an heirloom.
Every idol keeps a craft alive
Behind each piece is a family of karigars whose skill has passed down through generations — a craft quietly disappearing as factories take over. Buy one idol and you fund weeks of dignified work, and help keep an ancient art in living hands, not museums.
Svastika, in your world
Unboxings, design stories, the making, our authenticity, and founder notes — the world of Svastika, in short films.

Questions, answered
Solid, high-grade first-melt brass — never recycled scrap — sealed with a clear anti-tarnish lacquer and finished by hand. Every piece ships with a signed certificate of purity naming the karigar who made it.
Every brass piece comes with lifetime polishing. Whenever you want its original shine back, send it to us and we will polish it for you, however many years later.
Dust with a dry, soft cloth. For a deeper clean, use a little tamarind or lemon with warm water, then dry fully. Avoid harsh chemical polishes — the patina it develops over years is part of its beauty.
Smaller sizes suit a home mandir, a desk or a car; larger ones make a fuller centrepiece for a big mandir or a gift. The sizes this idol comes in are shown above the Add to cart button. Each is solid brass — you feel it the moment you lift it.
Dispatched in 3–4 days, fully insured, free across India, in a rigid keepsake box with cushioned cloth wrap. If it arrives damaged, we remake or replace it.
